Course Description
This course covers the following Units of Competency from FSK10119 - Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways.
Units of Competencies
- FSKLRG004 Use short and simple strategies for work-related learning
- FSKOCM002 Engage in short and simple spoken exchanges at work
- FSKRDG004 Read and respond to short and simple workplace information
If you are struggling to pass the RMS Learner Driver Knowledge Test in order to get your L plates, our course can provide assistance to develop your language, literacy and numeracy skills, helping you understand what is required to pass the test and to achieve a result in gaining your learner driver’s license.
There will be interactive learning activities, opportunities to practice the test online, and setting up the driving test app on your phone.
If students are successful in completing this course or have gained their Learner Driver’s license, they may be eligible for the ACE Community College Aboriginal Driver Education Programme which will assist you to gain more driving hours to complete the Driving Ability Road Test in order to get your P plates. Course Requirements:
Students must be 16 years and over and currently not enrolled in high school to attend this course.
A Statement of Attainment will be issued for units completed in this course.
This training is subsidised by the NSW Government – contact reception for full course details and to see if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Our course will qualify you for the:
ACE Community College Aboriginal Driver Education Programme
All students must obtain their L Plates before they can access a driving instructor in this programme.
A choice of two dual control driver training vehicles, one manual and one automatic:
- Going for your P1 Licence - two hour lesson with an instructor prior to the Driving Ability Road Test.
- Access to an ACE vehicle for licensing* which includes a one hour lesson prior to the test.
Only available to students who have attended a minimum of 3 lessons.
